For the most part, a super way to learn is to take apart other skins and figure out the code from those. A wmp skin is a .wmz, which is just a renamed .zip file. Rename it to zip, and extract it. All the files and images are in there. The .wms can be opened as text, as well as (possibly) a .js file. The .wms file isnt hard to understand, once you get a feel for the code.
