I saw that on other computers too, but I never asked how they made the quicklaunch icons big. Look through some of the screenshots and maybe you'll find someone with big quickstart icons and email them to ask them how they did that.

I have noticed that this sometimes could happen after changing something, but they will go back to normal size.
The best thing you can do, if you would like to use bigger qiucklaunchicons, take a look at two skins I have on WC, True Blue 2 and Ocean(the screenshot shows iconsize 72) but you can use what size you like, and it still looks good even if you are using 128.
My skins are designed to be used with large icons and menus, but you have to install True Launchbar. (www.truelaunchbar.com)

I have an idea, but its more of a workaround.

Don't show the quicklaunch toobar and create another toolbar (as in user created) the user created toobars have more options like text, no text and stuff like that. You can increase the icon size on user creaet toobars.

Just have the user created one go to the quicklaunch folder.

Open desktop properties-appearances- the "font size" small large or extra large will change the size of those buttons.

Right-click on your taskbar and make sure that it isnt locked. Then, right-click on the seperator to the left of the quicklaunch buttons and hit "View" and "Large Icons". (also, theres some other cool stuff you can do in that menu too, like adding text and lables and stuff.)

That should do the trick for ya!
