things that look like Mac OS X Tiger

Tuesday, July 20, 2004 by matrixman1 | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

Does anyone know where I can get the following things that look like Mac OS X Tiger?

ObjectBar
DesktopX Objects

That's all I need for now. I'm trying to create a Mac OS X Tiger Desktop.

If you want a Mac OS X Tiger WindowBlinds Skin that works, go to www.studiotwentyeight.com, click visual styles, and download the windowblinds skin.

But i really need these things so if someone could create them for me, i would be so happy and i'd repay them somehow. thanks.

There should be some sort of website where all the goofy lil PC users with Mac-envy, or whatever you want to call it, go to talk about how great Apples are. That way I don't come across dribble like this...

Well, there is another cure for it if you're of mind

Seriously though, every OS hoses up now and then...

Including Windows (name the OS version of NT or otherwise)

DEC found that out with their mini's when the PC and NT became the norm as a matter of fact.

I beg the question, has anyone who emulates the OS X ever actually used it?

Yep. I have. That's why I said ealier OS X is awesome. In fact I have 10.1 on CD from the days when I had my Mac.

What problem with the software? Have you ever looked for software for an Apple... probably not because you're a windows user.

Nice try but XP has more Proggies and Games. Far as I know, Farcry, D2, and C&C Generals ain't for mac.. (Corect me if I'm wrong)

I'm pretty sure people can manage without Farcry and C&C Generals. And of course Windows has more programs, an OS doesn't need 30 different AIM clients.

And O' how I love the vague discriptions people seem to give of the OS X. "it's awsome", Why? Because it's COOOLLLLL LOOoOKKINGGGG.

I totally agree with Essencay because with Virtual PC you can run all your pc programs on a mac.

Well that isn't correct You can run a whole bunch of PC proggies, but a lot games that require any kind of real video memory are not going to work, because VPC is only emulating a S3 Trio 32/64 PCI video card

Looks great Adam

30 AIM clients, very true, one that did what you could possibly need to do which allowed you to turn off the options you do not wish to use and would not still snatch resources in case you happen to decide to use them...
