Was he a yeller??? A screamer???
That who my boss is. about 2 days ago he belittled me in front of my supervisor, yelled at me, and raised his hand at me (for some reason... I can't remember what he was trying to say).
He basically said it was for my own good...
That was 2 days ago.

And I mean anger.
I called the job to find out who I should speak to. I decided that I would 'write him up' for this action. Did I mention that he obtusely threatened me by stating that he has himself covered and don't play games with him (or don't start any) because he will win?

Did I mention that he was in a fighting stance when he did it???
Did I tell you that he has a witness.... my supervisor (who drinks heaviely... even at work... AT WORK) was there too? He didn't say anything.
Apparently the Director has him in his pocket.

In a legal document such as dealing with this. Do NOT put that in there, word it as being an "aggressive stance". If it came to going to court, his lawyer would assassinate you posing the question asking if you are a "professional" as in martial arts teacher etc.

Wow! Really? I never thought of that. This whole thing has got me bugged out. I feel that he is the type of guy who would want revenge or something. And he is legally allowed to carry a gun too in NYC.

| Sounds like this isnt a place you want to keep working at |
Exactly. Get out now. If you only knew my experience you wouldn't hesitate. I was struck at work by a supervisor, with a major government job. Get out. Its dead end grief and no benefit to you. Don't think lawyers will help you. They are the scum of the earth.

| Write a full report out and take it as far as is needed |
The problem is a little thing called retaliation. You can write a report against them, and they can suspend you. And, its a dead end trying to prove unlawful retaliation. You can hire scum of the earth too. GET OUT NOW!!!

Think on it....your decision will affect not only your job...but your credibility as a prospective employee to any other company......also....
I'm sorry you had to go through it....it's a terrible thing to be threatened in a way that could either harm you physically or financially...both can be devastating.
Good Luck

Yes he is licensed to do so he can arrest people and everything like a police officer.
If you guys remember, I was the one who posted about having a 210/180 blood pressure.

All they above is the main factors as to why I laid in the hospital bed for the first time in my life at the age of 29. I didn't quit because it was the first job I had in almost 2 years. I wanted to get my life back together after an incident 4 years ago caused me to loose my job (and other things) I wanted to help my Mom pay bills and my sister to live better.
A quote from a letter I am about to send
By May, my health had improved somewhat, but the state of affairs at the job did not. It would also seemed that my supervisor found out that I had spoke to his supervisors about him and seemed out to have me fired. In May of 2004 he basically lied about me covering for him for a shift at the BLANK and wrote me up for an offense that is one of the biggest inaction a officer can do of which is leaving his post. Although I was told that this write up was not going to go against me (by the same management who probably told him I said something), it became clear that now I have to worry about him coming after me. |
So basically I was caught between my supervisor, my company, and now the director of the place I work threatens me. The atmosphere where I work tends to be hostile, the director and the company I work for are at each other (putting the officers in the middle), the supervisor and the company I work for is at each other and finally the place I work is annoyed with the company I work with.
DAMN!!!!
What a site... a sensitive site by the way, a museum, in New York, open to the public... the building itself is a maze or conglomerated biuldings...
Its really bad isn't it?
