Anybody notice the newest WB update? Wow!

First off, If you (haven't) got the most recent update, then this thread will be moot.
I updated last night and I noticed that when you change from one skin to another, that it will morph to the next skin.
Atleast, it does for me.
I thought it was a neat effect.
It seems, they're bringing a little of DesktopX over to windowblinds. Or that's what it feels like.
Most of the time, unless I look, I haven't a clue what was updated. But this was a noticable effect.

WOW! I love it 
I hadn't seen it till just now... Only my fairly new desktop will do it, my 3 year old notebook must not have enough horsepower.... I always work on my notebook so I didn't realize how impressive this effect was. The new (or is it?) skin color dialog is pretty cool too.
c'mon China... it's so fast you could just look away from the screen for a second and you'd miss it...

I just went into Stardock Central and found version 4.29f[rc].002, which I downloaded/installed...and everything is working great now!
Thanks so much guys for the quick fix/update! I cannot imagine computing without this program!

I dunno about morphing but, with the latest iteration of WB4 (4.29f[rc]002), when I change WB skins, the new skin doesn't show until I mouseover portions of a window!! Additionally, after changing a WB skin, then rebooting my system, I get a BLACK SCREEN and system halts right after bootskin runs. When I restart a second time, I get a message saying Windows experienced a major problem and halted the system to protect my files. Following the 25 second delay, I just let windows restart and wa la, all is okay. This ain't the way it's supposed to happen. Didn't have these problems with the iteration previous to 4.29f[rc]002, so I'm pretty convinced programming is hosed somewhere in this ?update?. This ain't cool for payware!

Maggot - I've noticed with that build that if I have something else running which is taking a significant amount of processing time, then the switch to a new skin doesn't seem to complete fully. Graphics then appear with a mouse over/resize etc.
It could be that something else on your system is interfering with the switching process, and WB in general.
Rather than complain that beta software isn't 100% working, best to contact tech support directly [email protected] and give them full details of your system so that they can sort it for everyone who might be affected before the next official release version.
You have to remember that using the very latest development build means putting up with the odd glitch in things. If you don't want that, then stick to the released versions. Think of it this way - you pay for the released versions, access to the beta versions is a bonus
