And also, fix your spelling...Nothing gives a worse impression than a site with all the "the"s spelled 'teh' etc...
Some of the linkies are broken too...might want to fix those...
But overall, not a bad job at all.

| This was a great opportunity for me to get a chance and really show my ability to get a project done. Here you will see an entire CD that I came up with for a band in the UK called "2Placid". This band consists of two men named Chris and Steve. The CD is an awesome mix of beats and grooves that makes you want more. Please check out their web site here and listen to a few of their sample tracks. |
As EventHorizon stated, this gives an unprofessional impression to a very nice site.
You should also provide a link back to your main page on all of the other pages. I noticed that when I went several pages deep into your site, that the only way back, was to use my browsers back button. There was one of your "back" buttons that was a broken link. Anyway, I don't like to have to backtrack through several pages in order to get to one of your other links.
Overall, I think that your graphics are well done, and look nice. I just wanted to point out a few things that I think might make your site a little better.

the text is nice and readable but the site is hell to navigate
it seems to be a flip through gallery which isn't bad but consider putting the 'next' and 'back' buttons at the top of the page as well - under your header, above the content.. so it can be leafed through without going down the page. in this style, having the page numbers listed might be useful so someone can go directly to a page. another solution is to have a site map or 'index' option with your navigation box in that top left corner.. its best to keep all the navigation in the same style and let the person choose the content, instead of just throwing it all in a continuous bundle. a gallery and divisions as links, instead of them just spread out-for example. that saves on initial loading time and cuts the chase. i'm rambling and i think i mentioned this all before.. but, also the items on the right still fall off my screen. this machine is a 1024 wide screen, the norm. it looks like a mistake how they JUST hang off the edge.. i would make them all fit comfortably in a 1024 screen or take full advantage of going out to 1280 and making it look like you've meant to have it columned outwards. other then that.. its busy. the good points: the text is clear, comfortably, and easily readabe. the pallet you use is nice, also. images are crisp.

On the first page you tell ppl to take their time to look around twice. I know they're in different paragraphs but as they're straight after each other it appears repetitive. On the personal page about you the about me title isn't too clear. God should be with a capital G unless he's not part of your religion ie Jews would say god but Christians say God. Just a small point I know lol. and you said in your hobbies bit "nothing to big" when it should be "too". The email button links to outlook express, which I don't use. Only me being picky I know but maybe an idea for later on to see if you can get one of those automatic form thingy that you fill in details and then send and it's all done on site. well I know what I mean
There was no back button either, which I like on a site. Lovely family photo btw. You all look great together
The My Links title wasn't in the centre of the box... sorry I didn't check out the links to see if they worked
I take it the wallpapers button on the main page is something you're developing? If so would be handy to link to a page that says under construction, just so ppl know it's meant to do something eventually. The finally box on the main page, titled "cover/back of booklet" was a different size box compared to the other three... maybe you meant it to be but the difference is only slight that I suggest either making it the same as the others or more noticeably bigger.
Finally abit of proof reading on your spelling like the infamous teh instead of the and it's all I can think of. I wouls suggest that maybe you could think about designing a logo based on SGI as you suggest it's the name you want to lead with. Just a thought (I like logos)
The site's well thought out and uses good colours. It's not over powering on the eyes and is easy to read. The disabled right click is a good idea too. The best idea is to go out and look at others sites and see what you like about them. I've watched my hubby design his site over and over again and I've seen what I like to see on a site... funny though he's never asked me to troubleshoot it for him lol. I have to say I work in a school so picking up on small faults is a thing of mine. But as you want to make something out of this the big key is presentation and first impressions.
Hope I haven't waffled on too much but hey I'm a pregnant woman... i'm allowed to

Anyone on dialup using some sort of net accelerator....I use Earthlink's Accelerator and need to right click to either Refresh Picture with Full Quality or Refresh Page with Full Quality. Without that ability I don't get clear graphics or any animations
On the plus side....the colors are good and the text is easy to read
