how to make sounds when you open certain programs

Monday, February 2, 2004 by daddy5 | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

Is there any way to have windows play sounds when you open a specific program? I know how to make it do it with all programs but I want a sound just when I start i.e. or outlook. Any suggestions?

I just make loud noises like "hubba quack" when I open programs. that way I don't have to fool around with the windows sounds.

To get involved, or not to get involved...

I'm sure there must be a program somewhere that lets you assign sound effects to app launching, I just haven't found it yet.

Hubba quack...Interesting; I use the patented Fwiddle bleep®. Now available in UGG retail outlets everywhere.

I'd count on some pretty strange looks for the first week or so...But don't worry, people will eventually get used to it and avoid you like the plague. It happens to all of us. Tragic.

How refreshing....daddy5 has a sense of humor

BTW: Koasati is correct...there is no way to do that. Everyone else was right too...you can just grunt

sorry if I offended anybody

If I knew how to do what you asked daddy5 I wouldn't of intentionally misinterpretted what you said.

It would be nice to know though.

Fwiddle bleep is patented? I think I saw someone trading it on Napster. Better call the RIAA.

If anyone finds a program that can assign sounds to specific app launching let me know.
