paxx.....BMWs and Aston Martins were/are sold with elaborate tool kits.....just means the Company is doing MORE, not less for their customer...

besides we all know that any car your inlaws give ya is the worst .. cause no matter how much u pay it back, itl never get paid off.........

It used to be common to find a tool kit with your car (along with extra fuses, etc.) Of course, cars used to also come with a full size spare.

Faint sound of Curtiss Mayfield's music from 'Super Fly' ....
The Lada was a Russian built FIAT 124 known as the VAZ2102 in the Soviet, a bit more ground clearance and drum brakes on the rear being the main difference.
I imagine the toolkit was much needed out East of the Urals ....
Trabant .... aka The Trabi .... not exactly papiermache but pretty damn close, a compressed fibre impregnated with a very nasty epoxy resin ....
REALLY UGLY CAR .... the Lamborghini Countach and all versions .... now that is one expensive example of how not too design a car .... let alone 'style' one.
