Sadness

Wednesday, January 21, 2004 by bmetelsky | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

I know that I am not a very frequent contributer to the site (although I have been around since the beginning), but wanted to share that my father passed away this morning at 1:20am from pnuemonia. He was 76 years old, sufferred from Alzheimer's, and was at the hospital to recieve radiation treatment for cancer on his nose. It was unexpected that he should go this way, however, I am sure he is in peace. I have never had to deal with grief of this magnitude in my life. Please keep my family in your prayers or thoughts.

bmtelsky very sorry to read of this... My fahter died not long ago last year and it still affects me even though we did not live close or live much of our lives together. I can not imagine how it would hit me if we had, damn, really feeling for you and those who loved him..

your part of everything this site is by choice and shouldn't question that or worry about explaining it, we do care and feel for you and your pain...

really really...

Losing a father is a very hard thing. Even after almost 3 years, I think of mine almost every day. My heart goes out to you. It's tough, but you can come away from this with fond memories of your Dad that you'll always have.

William...that's sad news.  I think you should find a little comfort in accepting that Alzheimers isn't the kindest of illnesses and your father will now be free from its effects.

The passing of a family member is something we all are forced to face, so the sympathy of understanding will be very real.

Take care and stay close to your family for mutual support....

William.........i lost my father a couple of years ago so i feel for you and know like most other people on this thread what you are going through.
My father suffered from Parkinsons desease for the last 20 years of his life which slowly took its toll. I look back with a lot of fond memeories and i am forever grateful to him for showing me the right road to take in life and i will always try to live up to his standards and pass them onto my child.

Right now the best place to be is to stay close to your family as you will all need to help each other......but your other "family" here at Wincustomize will always be here for you as well. God bless you and all your family.
