I was trying to point out that by it's nature, OS X is better at graphic programs and graphics handling.

And a point to add is although it has quirks, OS X is a little bit more stable because it being a UNIX based OS.
but I will always like XP better. I grew up on windows.

| just by the way the system handles animation and grapics as in Photoshop. And a point to add is although it has quirks, OS X is a little bit more stable because it being a UNIX based OS. |
Can you give me the technically details for this? As far as stability goes, XP is just as stable as OS X. Both can end up crashing due to user error. Look at the uptime in my desktop screenshot on my profile and don't try to claim I somehow doctored the screenshot.

the key word there is try.
Now about how osx is better graphically them xp. I don't know. But there might be an illusion of that since a large percentage of mac users are "graphically" inclined. If there is a difference it is small.
You can't justify something like "graphically better" with technical information. "graphically better" is an opinion and isn't a figure set in stone.

| I'm just trying to have an intellectual discussion here. kona claims that OS X is somehow graphically better than XP. |
NO No No...
I was trying to point out that the processor and hardware setup of a mac handles graphic better and animation for movies better than a PC.

1. Macs cost more than PCs.
2. The same tasks that can be done on a Mac can be done on a PC.
3. There is more software available for PCs than there is for Macs.
