WB4 Beta Bug List (Mods Plz Move as Required)
Sunday, January 11, 2004 by JeffBDVS | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk
1. Certain app windows (like SDC) and child windows (Adobe Encore DVD) do not roll all the way up if a rollup control is clicked.
2. Certain MDI window backgrounds (PS7, AE6, PS Elements 2) do not skin.
3. Utility windows accessed from the TuneUp Utilities integrator do not skin.
Anyone else seeing these issues? Each of them represent a loss of functionality from the previous release version 4.20.017

Maybe it's just a skin problem
Possibly, but the same skins work like they should in 4.20.017.
some of the parts of the skin turn black
I've noticed this at times also, but I haven't been able to pin it down to in/out hibernate. For me, it occurs rarely and randomly, so I'm not going to be much help in squashing this one.

I'm having rollup issues as well........ no 2 windows seem to rollup the same. SDC rollsup to half a window, etc.....
Is there a better place to post/send issues that may be bugs? I'm not sure if support@stardock is the right place.
several newsgroups here......... probably the best place to report bugs.

Are there any uses for rollup other than for people with hidden taskbars?Just curious ,
Adobe Photoshop and Encore DVD are two prime examples where several modules/documents are open at the same time (and I don't mean the palettes) and a rollup of the child windows works great as opposed to a minimize. At least in my workflow.

I too have noticed the random-size rollup problem mentioned above, and have had several instances of Start panel menus turning black, although in each case of black menu, closing and reopening the menu corrected the problem.

Kona...... you do it your way, and I'll do it mine.... I don't use rollup instead of minimize, I use for different reasons, and I love it.
me too. Some i minimize, not appropriate for all.
One thing, if I am using two dif browsers, i roll them up and alternate. The other windows i have open, some end up minimize. To alternate browsers quickly, roll ups one stacked below the other works best for me. Other reasons too. SOmetimes I need to act quick.
