Why is it that the doctor always seems to talk to my wife instead of me when I go in for tests and or the results?
The Doctor is married!
Why is it that I can hand the person behind the check out counter $250.00 for purchases and they hand my wife the $35.00 in change?
The checkout person is married!
How come it is when my wife tells me that she is not my Mother. I always feel the impulse to tell her to stop acting like her?
You're married but as you resist that particular impulse you have developed a strong sense of self=preservation!
