So. . .What made you choose your screen name?

Monday, December 15, 2003 by Stupendous Man | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

Since my wife is hispanic and often calls mi & my son Papi, I chose papidon, Don being my name.

Although, I am tempted to change it to something a bit cooler like some of the names you all have.

my old air force nick "buzz" is always taken.

bangkok is the only city where i've found myself totally incapable of wearing out my welcome. ( and i've made a number of good runs at it over the years). stuck with the english version since chay_kroong_thep_maha_nakawn doesn't work well.

Jafo wonders how much of #57 anyone actually understood....my guess is they all fell off the plot round about 'Troon'

Thats exactly the part where I fell off. ---Helppppp!! I've fallen..... and I cant get up---

'Troon' is just short for Duntroon....an Aussie Military 'boot-camp academy'...and we are lazy so anything/everything gets abbreviated.

A Wombat is a small [ish] burrowing marsupial which is quite 'solid' and has been known to be the cause of 'road-kill'....namely it walks away, but the car driver is the one who is killed.

The dictionary description has led to the 'joke' as a misplaced, extraneous comma can totally change the meaning....

Wombat. n. Small burrowing mammal, eats roots and leaves...

NatGEO. Discovery and Nova are things I grew up with, well that and reading the Encyclopedia, the cause of my desire to take my family for a visit to Australia in the future though it will have to wait because we're going to Ireland, Scotland and Briton for vacation next year. Going to go look at head stones and birth/marriage records I guess

Wife's more interested in my heritage than I am it seems, though I am interested in visiting those places also, but more for the history and the people (living)

Clarence95 is the name I used here first but now I can't or it doesn't recognize I'm a stardock customer. (Any way I can get that changed by the way?) Clarence is Christian Slater's character from the movie "True Romance"... my wife usually goes by Alabama. The 95 is just the first year I used the screen name. It kind of stuck and I've been using it ever since.

Buck3000 is because Buck is my nickname.

Anyway I can get rid of the Buck3000 nickname and assign my Stardock email address to the Clarence95 nickname?
