I guess you can't wait to get a Democrat in office who will not fight terrorism and put our country in danger.
In a Jerry Maguire-esq shout:
Show me the WMDs.
SHOW ME THE WMDs!
SSHHOOOOWWWW MEEEE THEE WWWMMMMDDDDSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!
Now as for North Korea, who actually has WMDs, every Democratic presidential canidate has spoken of North Korea, and is prepared to deal with that when the time comes *cough* now *cough*, unlike DUBYA, who had to finish daddy's business before pursuing business even the slightest bit relevant to the safety of our county. figures...
DEAN 2004

I do not like Dean either.
Dosen't matter who we get as a President next year. All politicians are evil.

Frogboy, I don't trust Dean in the least... He has a nasty case of the Holyer than Thou syndrom seems to me. He also seems to put a lot of energy in claiming he would not have voted for congress giving the President the power to act against Iraq. Woulda, Coulda and Shoulda when he didn't face the vote is moot because he would lie either way fit into ihs best interests...Reply #92 Sunday, December 14, 2003 9:51 PM
The more that we learn about Iraq and Al Qaeda, the deeper the connection runs. Certainly an ally has been eliminated and a hiding place made less secure.
Actually, the more we learn, the more we know that they did not have the connection that you, Bush, and most other Republicans are hoping for.
Aqua, what is not being done to find Ousama Bin Laden that you think should be?
The CIA has been complaining for a long time that they were ordered to shift most of their assets from finding OBL to finding Saddam. I think that finding a man that killed over 4,000 Americans should be more important than finding someone the Republican National Party has held a grudge match with for over a decade.
Where do you think we should shift our focus? More troops in Afganistan? Iran? Syria?
I fully supported going to war in Afghanistan, OBL attacked us. Iraq/Saddam did not attack us, and so I did not and do not support that war. If you're one of the people claiming we were right in invading on moral grounds, then do you support the logical conclusion that we should invade over 60% of the rest of the world as well on the same grounds?
Sorry, but I'm not a war loving Republican. I used to be a Republican until I saw how Bush was more concerned with using the 9/11 attacks for personal gain, as an excuse to gift special interests with what they've been requesting for close to a decade, and to press his personal grudge match against Saddam.
FYI, I'm not a Democrat either, they're too soft and timid for my liking, though I find them better than the Republicans. Also, my opinions on Republicans and Democrats almost entirely apply only to the national level, at the state and local levels I've found the Republicans to be pretty good.

To a non-American...the most notable or noteworthy thing Bush ever did as President was turning up in Iraq for the troop's Thanksgiving.....maybe it was a PR stunt....but even if so I am certain there were a bunch of Yankee soldiers over there who really appreciated the gesture...and I'm sure the Coalition forces in general liked it too.
Jafo sitting here in his 'safe' Australia certainly admired him for it....

It was a freaking Plastic Turkey

Oh and anyone claiming of connections between Iraq and Bin Hiding, President Bush went on National TV and told you and the world that there wasn't any! Convenient some seek to ignore that fact... sheesh...

Well OK he makes a good president (bush) when he is not calling daddy for advice.
kona, is easily influenced by the liberal media. I thought kona leaned towards conservative a long time ago, now I just don't think he leans towards the left or the right.
