You aren't going to get too much faster then those specs. As always AMD does about the same as the competition and for a better price tag

The question then is if between 32 or 64 gigs of ram?

I have changed out the Graphics card.  I get getting no signal no matter what monitor I used.  I am replacing it with the GTX 4090.  It was either a bad card or AMD driver issues.

I prefer NVIDIA cards myself. I know AMD has the best bang for your buck, but there is still tech out there such as ray tracing that NVIDIA is just better at.

I currently have GTX1050TI on my system. And, I am thinking to get the AMD RX 580 just a small 10/20fps upgrade for games that I play. Any reason, I should know before I move to AMD Cards? Why Nvidia only?

Thank you,

In my experience, AMD (ex ATI) cards have always had driver issues.

I have 12 PCs at the moment, with a good mix of nVidia and Radeon.  I prefer the AMD Radeons myself.

I know quite a few people that swear by AMD cards so not everyone hates them. The main reason for this is that AMD Cards are much cheaper for the performance you get. If you are on a tight budget then I would say go for the AMD card

The main reason I prefer NVIDIA is that I feel their drivers and software support is much better. However with performance, I think only ray tracing is out matching the AMD Cards right now. So your opinion on ray tracing may be a factor as well.

For the sake of my recommendation. The most popular gpu on steam right now is the rtx3060 which is a card that is right on the money with modern gaming. If you can afford that (or a better model) then I would definitely recommend that card. If it is too expensive for what you want to do then go AMD all the way.

Additionally, if you do go with NVIDIA in the future try and skip the xx50 models as they tend to disappoint. Always go with at least a xx60 model.

Agree with Phoenix.

Drivers and support, updated often. I have used other makes of GPU in the past (not often), but understand and have had, a long experience with the Nvidia Control Panel. I have never really been a Gamer(too Old), but do a lot of X265 Encode creations from Video Files, and love the X 265 results. Also GPUs form a huge cost percentage of the PC, and for me, Nvidia give me all i need at the right price, even if that price is still a lot.

Second best reason, for me, is Virtual Super Resolution with which you can run a monitor at a higher than native resolution.  Yes, you can do this with nVidia, but it is harder to do and doesn't perform as well.

I use an RX6700 XT in my main rig. Here is a comparison between it and the RTX 3070

I think the reason for this must come down to vram. I did not realize the 3070 cards only had 8 gigs of vram which is strange because the 3060 does have 12. A lot of games need that 12 gigs of space to run at max speeds now a days. You can see that the 3070 has to pull a lot more system ram versus the rx6700

I am all AMD. I prefer their CPUs, and their GPUs.  Intel Processors are overpriced and the nVidia GPUs, well, you know...

AMD Ryzen 7900x

ddr5 memory

AMD Ryzen 7900xt Graphics card.

It's finally returned and working.  The graphics card was DOA.  It' now has a working AMD 7900XT.

You have some amazing specs. That GPU should last well into the next generation. You shouldn't have to stress over getting a new pc to work for a long time.
