Nintendo is using their own brand of mini-DVD's which hold up to 1.7GB of data while Xbox I believe has a capacity of 8.5GB and PS2 4.7.

Still the amount of memory a game can take up is unlimited due to the use of more than one disc. I believe this is true for PS2 and XBOX as well as for GameCube. The only valid complaint anyone can really make is that with larger games, the GameCube version takes up more volumes.

its not the size of the disk that matters its how you use it.
