Ability to rate skins???

Monday, December 8, 2003 by J Show | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

Is there a conflict of information here? The following two links both state that a Level 3 user can "Rate" skins:

https://www.wincustomize.com/index.asp?cmd=subscription
&
https://www.wincustomize.com/resources.asp?cmd=5

Then the link below states something entirely different:

https://www.wincustomize.com/index.asp?Cmd=about

Which is correct?

I like the way Americans call a car's bonnet a 'hood'....makes sense as this penis-substitute [the car] should have a 'hood' too...

What doesn't make sense is that we put bras on the front of sportscars to protect the hood.

Yeah and the Brits call a lake "the drink"
butt is "bum"
and Dentist is .... ummm .... I don't think they have a word for that.

I think most Americans just object to extra vowels in their words. were just lazy.

I was pretty surprised (note: no 'ZEE') when sulphur changed to 'sulfa' and foetus change to 'fetus' in the US.

I think the quote above is justified!

That'd be quaint if it was accompanied by a " "

Without it, however it's a racial slur by implication, and not at all 'clever'.

China...yes, and a boot is a trunk, and a mudguard is a wing and a bumper is a fender....but since cars did not originate in the US it was just plain petty of them to go change the naming protocol...

Actually, only in the US did they find necessary to reinvent the English language and decide that "colour" should be spelled "color". I everywhere else in the world where English is written, it's "colour".

Racial slur not intended. I apologise.

I doubled checked my spelling at webster.com and this is what I got.

'Main Entry: apol·o·gise
British variant of APOLOGIZE '

I think its safe to say that the United States has saved the world a couple times that we can change the english language to suit us as we want. What do ya think?

"I was pretty surprised (note: no 'ZEE') when sulphur changed to 'sulfa'...."

I'd be pretty surprised too considering that "sulfa" is an antibiotic, not the element also known as brimstone.
