1024 & 1280. Who uses more?

In looking at DX Themes I have noticed that *most* themes are for reso's of 1280+ and the authors generally say that the only ones using 1024 are people with 15" monitors or laptops.
So, my question is: Of the people using DX Themes, which is the greater number, 1024 or 1280? Has there already been a poll done on this and what was the result. If not, could that be considered for a future poll.

17" monitor with 1280x1024 is perfect for me.
If the fonts are too small, just increase their size.

I've used 128oX1024 on a 19" monitor for 3 years now -with several OS's but I think 19" is the minimum for that setting.

I've been using 1280x1024 almost as long as I've used a computer. I went to from 800x600 to 1024x768, and about 15 minutes later I tried 1280x1024. Everything seemed so much crisper on my 17". The extra real estate didn't even occur to me at first, that was a bonus!......... I've never considered going back. I'd be using 1600x1200 now if my monitor would handle it.

Enh. Depends on what I'm doing. For normal day to day usage, and most games, I run 1280. Whenenver I fire up Photoshop or Dreamweaver, or for games that my system can handle at that res, it gets pushed up to 1600. And I've gotta say, Freelancer at 1600 is /too/ sweet. 
All you Dell owners, I'm partially jealous. I don't like the laptops at all - but their 1600x1200 screens are /amazingly/ clear and easy to read. Honestly easier to make out than my Toshiba's 1024 screen.

I like the sizes of different things as how it would look in 1024x768 on a 17" CRT monitor or 15" LCD monitor. So I pretty much use that. If I had a bigger monitor I'd have it in a higher resolution to keep the same look.

On my main home machine, 1280x1024, this is perfect to me. 
I have a 21" monitor here, if I go much lower, things are just huge. I just went down to 800x600 for kicks, and the little green Wincustomize guy at the top is the size of my hand. 
On my other desktop machines, 1024x768. On my laptop, it will only go to 800x600. It's killing me. >

Funny, I didn't see many people mentionning 800x600.
Outside of my artist/programer/elite friends, most people I know still use 800x600.

19" running at 1600x1200. Any res. lower is just too big.
