Wacom Tablet...

It totally rocks and comes bundled with Photoshop Elements and Painter Classic v2.
Both of which are full blown programs and not light versions and the purchase price
for them is included in the tablets price.
If anyone is considering a Tablet or updating to a newer mouse, I suggest the extra
pay out to pick up the 4x5 at least. The Bang for the Buck is HUGE...

going to do Mechanical Design because I had finally grown up

Both work great on a desktop, but kind of suck trying to tote around
in a Laptop Backpack

Yes they have been 99.00 for a while now, this is the 3 revision.
I was pointing out that it is worth the extra moeny over an expensive mouse
to get the tablet even more so with full versions of Painter and Elements
included. Which also allows the person use of support and such.

I would like a new Calcomp Digitizer though for 3D design using tablet
templates in MAX and Autocad... 18 button programmable puc and stylus

I bet DangeRuss has a sweet setup at work and at home for that...
Jafo also, though he is more pratical and probably sticks with a good solid
mouse. I had a two button Kensington mouse, still have it, that everyone
wanted to take with them when we would work on projects at my house.
I picked it up with my $4000.00 386/25 mhtz cad system running ACAD9, oh hell
years ago and a blazingly fast 1200 baud USR which I was quick to up grade to
a 2400 baud USR as soon as they came out. That system was a monster too!
4 megs of ram, 80 meg Segate SCSI drive, 3.25 *and* 1.44 floppies with a monster
1 meg SVGA Trident video card. Though I did installed a Number 9 with 4 megs on
the card and 4 megs on a daughter card.
HAHAHA, heck everyone was talking about Amigas, OS2 and Windows (wondering if Windows
would just shrivel up and blow away like dust in the wind) Windows 3 that is...
I ran a BBS here in St Petersburg called CADaddicts CBCS was and a FIDO hub.
Ran Wildcat, PCBoard, RBBS, Maximus CBCS was what I ended up with in the end
as time went by.
I need to go to sleep...

shows, when I can slip back that many years and see everything like it was happening
right now
