What is the animation docklet for?

Uploaded it to give people a taste of the docklet,we'll see if they can figure it out.I made the description fairly simple to understand(I think)

I'm new to Object Dock. Is there anyway to get rid of the animation docklet completely? It does nothing but aggravate me.
