| Not trying to be rude or sarcastic, Kona, but did you once mention you had ADD or something like that? |
No offense taken. Yes, I have chronic ADD. Hard to control without meds and since I have no health plan, I have not had my prozac for over a year. My mood swings are terrible and it is hard to control my mouth and actions.

Kona named my thread as another stupid one...Hey, I'm the QUEEN of stupid threads but I try to limit myself to one or two or three a week not a night.

Don't know what programs may be available in Oregon but have you checked with some public mental health programs/services just in case there is something? (Not saying ADD is the same as being nuts, although it can result in additional frustration and stress, just that perhaps these places might have info on what programs might be available, if anything, for affordable meds.)
Anyway, I thought you had mentioned ADD earlier so I try to keep that in mind. A friend of mine has a kid with ADD and he's a great kid, but he does need his meds. That also might explain why you seem to so often ask what people think of you, how you're "coming across" to people. That used to baffle me, then irritate me. So again I try to put it in context, FWIW.
Anyway, if you haven't already looked into whatever health assistance/discounts might be available in Oregon that would be worth a look. If you already have looked into it and there's nothing, then that stinks.

During that one year period, the restricted rider must complete a five hour training course on elevator usage, the alternative health benefit of using stairs and pass a 100 question test about buttons in general,
ie:Elevator, vending machine, web page submit, etc.

Kona, hows things going outside of this thread or site?
Reply #55 Tuesday, October 7, 2003 10:06 PM
I can never understand all the antagonism you guys throw at Kona, personally I have never had a problem with any of his posts. Maybe it's just me? I sincerely believe he is trying hard to fit in here, and he's not doing a bad job as far as I can see. So, as a moderator on this site, I am asking you all to cut him some slack. There are, and have been in the past, much more annoying people on this board. And I have read many more inane threads than this one.
So having said that, there ought to be a law force people to give others a second chance.

Up here in Oregon, we have the Oregon Health Plan. Although I owe them $36 bucks (Although I could pay them off anytime) I do not quilfy because I make to much at work. I will look into the mental health thing, thanks. I hear they are free. I might even join a ADD support group.
Shmoopy-
your threads are not stupid but on the contrary, they cheer me up. I love you as a friend. You have always been helpful to me and you are a very happy, radiant person. Thank you. Sorry If I offended you!
Iplural-
Not alot going on off site. Same old stuff, different day. I still have my job at best western, thank God. I think I have set a record for having a job this long.
My ebay sells are still going strong. And my bicycle is almost complete.
My wife and I have been argueing alot lately. I complain that the house is never clean, she complains that I spend to much time online and don't help her clean the house. Why should I? I clean close to 20 peoples messes a day so why come home to clean my mess when she has had 5 hours to herself in witch to do it?
My mood swings are getting worse. I wake up angry alot. And then everyone, including you people here, suffer.
On a good note my bills are all up to date and paid.
Thanks for asking.
BoXXI - I am in your debt. Thank you.

Most of my threads are pretty silly and nothing to do with skinning... I like the community here for the artistic/skinning but when it comes to the forum it's just to touch base with folks I care about and get to know new folks too.

Just a small tid-bit of advice from my own lesson-learning...
Sometimes it's good to just not even participate for a bit (like a week or so)...let things rest and THEN make an innocuous thread. That way if folks are a bit sore with you it's water under the bridge by then and people are more receptive.
