I'm a pathetic, hopeless case! I want to be loved and cherished and cared for...ah well. ph00ey!

Angel_Wings sulks and cries big sad reflective tears and skulks off into her dark corner...

Schmoop.. I can't presume to be as familiar with you as many others on this list, but if that's really a pic of you in your 'current desktop' then I predict all you need to do is go outside to where some sentient members of your preferred persuasion gather together... and wait...

I will concede someone worthy of a smile like yours will be difficult to find

Am I not worthy of true love? Or am I only good enough for online laughs at my expense?

My heart hurts...

I was serious it takes ten years to get over your first true love.
I'm not sure how long it takes to get over the second true love.

Time, Angela. Time heals. That, and not living in the past. Look forward.

I find that I forget how much I loved my old bike as soon as I find a new bike.

Guess I'm not so worried about finding a new love as I am sad about losing a true love...

David/Ph00ey...he is my everything...

Have you ever had someone just connect? Join thoughts?

I'm 37...he is 51...at first the age dif scared me because I look young for my age already but David...he is a part of my soul.... I love him so deeply...without him I start back at point alpha...

I LOVE HIM SOOOOOOOOO MUCH

Shmoopy, seriously? or off the cuff?

Seriously; time and slow healing, and allowing yourself that time....

Off the Cuff; his loss, he is a fool, (anything that runs opposite of the above)

give yourself time and do not allow yourself to fall into the trap of rebounding into a pseudo relationship with someone else in an attempt to heal something that took time to harm.. *YOU*

a quick fix isn't going to happen sad to say, and your a good person from what I've known of you here on the site. Enjoy your friends, your daughter, go out and have a good time, try not to spend to much time beating yourself up emotionally, make friends. Do not let anyone talk you into getting back out there and meeting someone new because you end up bringing all the confusion and everything else from the previous relationship into the new with you which only mucks up the water and sells not only you but the other person short.

anyway...

blah blah blah blah, I know, think to much and shouldn't presume...

but you have a good support line here with friends and you should have one in real life or build one step by step...

you take care of you...

I'll shut up now and be my goofy opinionated dorky self again...

If it wasn't meant to be Angela, it wasn't meant to be. Don't beat yourself up emotionally like IPlural said (great advice he gave). Dwelling won't get you anywhere.

You know how it goes: if you love something, let it go. If it comes back, it was meant to be. Be true to yourself, take it a day at a time, and you'll be fine. You're a great person with a wonderful heart and I hope you feel better.

Hmmmmmm, matters of the heart. Terrible curse upon mankind. Errr...Humankind. Take it one day at a time. No potion, pill, or tonic will ever help. Healing takes a long, long, long time. Sounds terrible, but billions of people go throught the same emotional turmoil as you do every day. Either that or get a good sewing kit and sew the two halves back together. >

Good ol Jack Daniels... J/K

Have faith and pray Angela. It will pass. Gets tough but it will pass. Besides, it IS his loss.
