Pretty much what I suggested earlier.... that 11 would likely be based on Win 10 code, etc.  It's the new features that could have some early issues, and why I'll wait a while before updating.

I found a link to the leaked Win 11 and I'm wondering if I might install it on a non-critical PC to see what's different to Win 10.   I was skeptical at first but it does seem to be Win 11. 

Anyway, I'd check it out for any nasties before deciding whether or not to install it on an old PC with an AMD Phenom CPU in it.

So far I love all the animations that 11 has, though I only tested it on a VM. The direction that they are taking it seems to be right, though there are some concerns about its theme-ability with windowblinds. Taskbar has been overhauled and might not be skin-able like the modern ui apps in its final form. Just from messing with its msstyle, it seems to no longer be modifiable there. 

Windows 11 is a total disappointment so far... but I hope until the final version after 1 year, the will hear the people's reaction...

MS "leaked" this to create an even larger media circus. I don't advise installing the leaked version because of possibly damaging bugs which MS will take no responsibility for. 

All W11 appears to be is a small GUI change which available customizing apps can do on your system what this W11 does without possible damage. 

It will not be an additional charge. Fact: Windows Keys from W7, 8.1 and 10 activate the leaked copy.

You are missing graphics drivers. it makes things look better. Rounded corners on the windows and acrylic blur on search/start/taskbar. What you are seeing it what windows 7 use to do with basic and aero, but now on a modern OS. Lol

Also a side note. One of my friends on discord was talking with another person and got windowblinds loaded up on win11. Though there are some minor quirks.

MS states W11 will be able to run Android apps locally. This is an important plus.

Now that is a huge plus and one I see myself using.... there are several Android apps I'd use without having to jump through hoops and emulators to install them.

As for installing Win 11 on a non-critical PC, the link I found doesn't work, it keeps going to an error message that suggests people wanting to test Win 11 should try again later..  I've done that several times and still no go.  From what I read yesterday, however, the leaked version will become more accessible after MS delivers a press release to announce the 'new' OS sometime today.

I'm actually very excited about this version. I had a bad gut feeling about all the versions after Win7 and my intuition proved me correct. But with this version  , I'm getting some very positive vibes in my gut similar to what I got when Win7 was about to be launched. Let's keep our fingers crossed and hope this will be the bees-knees , like Win7 was.

My system checks out according to the system health app. All go for Windows 11. Bring it on already. Windows 10 is getting boring and stale.

I dont think they can now.... Look at the last bullet point. This is right from the about windows 11 page on Microsoft's website. Might be time to finally bring back Stardock Objectbar/Objectdock....
