Freedom of opnion vs. copyright in the Netherlands.

A few years ago someone quoted "copyrighted" work of Scientology on the net in the Netherlands. After 8 years there is a verdict and the freedom of opnion won.

Interesting in this case is that ISPs cannot be hold responsible for the contents of a web site. They just provide the medium, not the contents. Also a hyperlink which points to material that infringes upon a copyright is now ruled not to be the responsibility of the ISPs.

Don't worry about it. Nobody here is interested in the freedom of opinion, unless the USA is involved. At least Doreen had some fun.
