Back to topic....I again must stress that Opera.com in particular were very responsible and removed the offending work/s immediately, and thus are a respectable company worthy of our support and custom....we should be providing them with legitimate skins for their browser, and show them the quality of skins they have deserved...

Hey I gotta ??? I went to the link in the first post..The site is in Japanese or something like that..Are these premium suites that are being distributed for free?? or just uploaded to a site that shouldnt be destributing them.???I cant really tell..Just because I can read the guy is giving the Name of Mormigel a the artist and a link to his site and contact info..What exactley is the "rip " part..For I dont see him claiming it as his work..??? He just seems to be making it available for upload..SO is it a premium suite? or What????

Oh I get it..Ive heard of Opera..Its a Browser thats used mainly in Europe/Asia..Whatever..Anyway.Isee they used Mormigils Icons..Just like those one guys that used Abracadabra..as a default..They gave the Artist credit..By no Royalties and no Permision..Duh (ben slaps forhead and tells himself to stop smoking crack in back alleys) Okay..Got it..Um I add a Steadfast Grrrrrrr!!!!! Bark!! bARK!!

Drop125....primarily it is all about the 'permission' issue......that is what copyright is all about....exactly who has the right to distribute or disseminate a person's property.

Skinners/artists upload their work here....themselves....and by so doing are granting Wincustomize.com the rights to limited distribution....via public download for personal use.

That is no problem at all, as to rescind those rights...to remove the work/s it is within the owner's control to do so...just delete them from Wincustomize and absolute proprietorship is restored/maintained.

When a third party uploads the works of another, whether exact or slightly modified, the original author is out of the 'loop' and must actually 'fight' to regain control of his property.

Therein lies the issue of the 'rip'....

Alright..I always thought rip meant the actually "theavery" of the graphics.and that distribution was piaracy...or coying..Something like that..Thanks Jafo..Oh btw..Saw your photo in the new skinner album..no comment just thought Id tmention Id checked it out...Boy I was suprised I thought China was Maybe Asian.. sorry Ill be quiet now...Thanks for the Xplanation....Oh yeah I receantly got Abracadabra..Ive used it for a week now...Longest use of a skin ever..I usally rotate every day...but Damn!

"Native born" means born on US soil. It has nothing to do with race, only to do with place of birth.
