Doesn't suprise me. You never hear of these types of announcements being made for Mac OS X or Linux, but then again any OS could have a serious flaw that has not yet been discovered.

You never cease to amaze me. There you go again trying to start a OS war.

Knock it off, I have had enough!

For the record Mac OS X has had it's share of the same problems. Goto apple.com and read all about it.

And by the way if you are such a BIG linux fan why are you here?

Notice what I said after "but". I am being fair and balanced here or doing my best to be. I didn't just go "see windoze sucks!! Linucks rules!! take that windoze washers!!!!!"

I hope this isn't another 'Mine's better than yours' thread.

That's because no-one gives a ****

Seriously, if I had a physical presence on this net I would bang your heads together. Just leave it alone, nobody cares about who does what. Maybe you should concentrate on real life things instead of irrelevance

People seem to be overlooking this statement. I suspect selective reading is going on.

It could very well be on of those threads, but it is not my intention to say anything of mine is better than anyone else's.

Hello? I am a Windows user too and I use Object Desktop. I use both Linux and Windows equally.

Must be almost time for medication for most people around this time. I'm due to take my next dose in a half hour so yeah I'm more irritable with the effects of my last dose wearing down.

Thank you Jafo. I never intended to say anything that lead to that gang bang, but I see that Kona started something that I may have helped make worse.

Microsoft are human. I know it's hard to believe, but it's true. They make mistakes. At least when they're made aware of their mistakes they work to fix them.

Apple are human. I know it's hard to believe, but it's true. They make mistakes. At least when they're made aware of their mistakes they work to fix them.

Open source developers are machines. I know it's hard to believe, but it's true. They never make mistakes. Linux was created on the first attempt by thousands of machines all working in tandem all over the globe. You will be assimilated.

Funny but the truth is open source is another group of human beings that make mistakes too.

Nothing wrong with sending out a security alert. It's all a matter of how it was delivered.

Re-read your original post and the title of this thread kona. How could you possibly say you didn't intend it to turn into a Microsoft-bashing exercise?
