Well Claudette is just getting to my neck-of-the-woods (San Antonio, TX area that is). A lot of wind, not much rain yet. Aint nature grand?

For once in our lifetime us Brits are getting the best of the weather.
The Forecaster is predicting 31 degrees tommorrow........centigrade that is, not fahrenheit.

It gets hotter abroad but it's not the same. Anything above 27°C here is so oppressive you can't move. I've been in the desert at 45°C and that was more pleasant. Today has been awful. Tomorrow worse - with thunderstorms too - bah!

Yeah, the whole world should convert to US...

For those of you still in the dark ages:- 31°C = 88°F, 27°C = 81°F, 45°C = 113°F

92°F and sunny skies here in Miami Fla.
I gotta take break from work and head out to the beach
I actually thought Claudette was going to affect us. But it passed too far from Florida.
Thank God.

I am on the west coast of Florida, and when good ol' Claudette goes towards Texas, that is one less worry for me. Wouldn't wish a hurricaine on my worse enemy though. It is always fun to have hurricaine parties unless they are coming right at you, then it isn't so much fun anymore. Thank goodness this one petered out and didn't slam you. This is the height of hurricaine season right now so keep your fingers crossed they all peter out in middle of the Atlantic.

"better thee than me" is a philosophy which normally draws fire, but when you're talking about hurricanes all bets are off!
