On clicking on the link so thoughtfully provided to us by C242, I noticed some subtle commentary toward the bottom of the screenshot. Three icons, running from left to right, on a slight incline, represent firstly, the modem; secondly, Internet Explorer; and thirdly, Outlook Express. Obviously expressing the author's opinion, that the the modem led to the internet browser which then, in turn, lead to e-mail.
But I could be wrong in my interpretation. What do you think?

Those with good eyesight might be able to spot the hidden image of a teddy in his screenshot. It really is quite clever.
