Well, I made it to 1 year today. Clean and Sober.

Just thought I'd brag, well, because I'm proud of myself.
I haven't been sober this long since I was 14 years old and I'm an old fart at 43. But dang it! I still Rock!

The next day is always the hardest one, so keep crunching those demons and live every day to the full. I'll be looking for your second year post.
Congratulations.

My Father passed away last August from cirrhosis of the liver. He was only 50 years young. He had been an Alchoholic for just over 30 years. It is not a pretty thing watching someone you love literally deteriorate into skin and bones and then finally death. All because of Alchohol.
Congratulations jarget!!! Stick to your guns and don't turn back. Alcholism is not a path you want to walk.
Take Care
