Very Upset...

I would never make such a controversial statement unless I was 100% sure. I have taken and reproduced the stolen graphic many times, the pixel pattern is almost exact, it can be reproduced quite easily with just using layer styles in Photoshop.
What can I do?

I dunno about all the chocolate vla - whatever....but I do need to point out to all and sundry....anyone not aware....that MadIce is NOT a brown-nose of any variety.
Matthijs done and contributed more to this [and other] skinning communities than a paltry '7 skins and 2 walls' and doesn't deserve personal insult.
I'm not bothered that my opinion is considered not sufficiently 'professional', as I doubt I could convince the stubborn otherwise.
Zodiaq~...if you wish, I'll approach these three mentioned 'Professionals' for their opinion, however I know the outcome already....I'll have my opinion supported thrice, and I'll be quizzed as to why I thought I should need to ask their opinion anyway, and treetog will call me names claiming I am French and cannot speak Spanish...[it's a long story].
Putting this whole, [originally anonymous] debate in the public forum is all part of skinning and the education of those new to the 'game' of issues/problems that arise from time to time.
The clear and present danger of doing so can write one 'side' or the other into a corner from which there is no 'easy' escape.
It takes a bloody big person to publicly admit an error of judgement.....but, when they do [as one has done just recently directly to the admins], they are simply seen to be even bigger for doing so.
With the short attention-spans of a gnat, and the general willingness to move on to the next contentious issue, people will soon forget all about this, so there is not actually any real necessity to leave the site for whatever perceived reason.
Just stay, put this all behind you as a learning experience and, as I think MadIce said once or twice....'skin something'.
Think of your remaining here as a pay back for all the time various Admins have expended in determining the veracity of the whole situation...

I been a lurker for many years in the 'skinning community'. The way I see it, WinCusto IS Skinz, minus a few odd people. Half of the regular names I see here, I used to see on Skinz, I see way way less on the other 2 big skin sites. Only difference is, this is Skinz with quite a few more people. Just my opinion though, I could be wrong...

I also apologise for my sarcasm, and agree with you wholeheartedly that your button was ripped. Dark Mist was so clever that he realised that he could cover his evil deed by modifying every single pixel in the final image so that it bore no resemblance to the original. Why spend a day creating your own button from scratch when you can spend two modifying someone else's beyond recognition? Sheer brilliance!
