the last few updates from microsoft have seemed to bum rush my computer. losing connection with msn, programs quit responding etc etc. ended removing three of the last three updates received and my system is back to normal finally.

I read somewhere that you should diable your virus scanner before installing 811493. That worked for me.

The latest I've seen from MS is they aren't going to update 811493 anytime soon.

geesh...
I would pick and choose the updates run on my system and I would also wait at least
three days before installing any update I decided to use so I could make sure it doesn't
end up turning out to be a YUGO.
