Axialis Icon WorkShop is French!

I downloaded icon workshop & liked it because I could easily batch convert mac icons to png's or ico's, so when my trial period was up I deceided to buy it ( like I should)BUT I found out they charge only euro's because they are French, so I decided NO WAY I'm gonna suport the French! Can anyone recommend another program with the same or better capabilities ??

there is IconShop (freeware), but it´s from Belgium (anti-war as well) too bad for you

Maybe someone out there even knows how much 69.95 Euro's is!!! And Yes supporting the French economy by buying their products does matter. They are NOT anti-war. They have been secretly selling nuclear technology to the Iraqi's for years , putting innocent American's at risk!!!

If hashonboat doesn't want to buy French products, I don't see any reason to gang rape him for it.

I'm not an Iconist, i wish i could help. For PC work i know many people use Microangelo, made by Impactsoft. http://www.impactsoft.com/default.htm
If you need to work with Mac icons and such go to Cleffie net http://www.cleffie.net/ and read his tutorials. It may be extra steps as compared to a single app, but if you feel strongly about not buying from French companies, it will probably outweigh the added annoyance.

yes Baker but he also slammed it for being French, it would be the same no matter who made it, would he continue to be happy with it not knowing it was French? Of course he would. and not every thread gets an answer in the first posting, i couldn't answer but didn't just completely ignore it
