I just noticed that there is a thread about an email hoax by Dark Mist here: https://www.wincustomize.com/msgboard.asp?BID=WC&id=125801

I posted last night asking if he knew it was a hoax, and I didn't go back till just a little while ago (I saw new posts). Now, my reply is gone. Someone else is there mentioning it's a hoax (Fuzzy Logic).

I'm more than just a bit curious why my post was deleted. The exact text was approximatly (sorry, maybe not exact, it was delted, I couldn't quote):

"Are we ignoring the fact the norton calls this a hoax? If it was a joke, sorry, I'm kinda slow at times... "

No, this one isn't a problem, but there have been a few other ones like this one, to which I don't remember off the top of my head. People thought their posts didn't come through, they reposted. It's a common occurance. Closing a thread, how is that insulting?

I'm off to class, I should be back in about... 4.5 hours...

Most of the times the reason we delete a thread is because does not belong here. Use of profanity: delete. Request for pirated software: delete. Those post don't belong here and should not be read. Period.

Pirated software requests aren't deleted.... at least, I didn't notice they were.

i don't know if Elfkura is referring to B_H's capital explosion yesterday, but i was offended. Elfkura brought a deviation from well known site protocol to someone's attention, and did it politely as a request for compliant behavior. Got her head rudely, disrespectfully, and defiantly bitten off. i have no doubt from what i've heard that B_H is a good artist and interesting character, but does that justify...
i find it hard to imagine that the other site admins would put up with B_H or anyone else responding to THEM in that manner.

Ok i again apologise but i posted it not knowing there was a site telling of what is a hoax and what isn't, i was completely unaware and thought posting it may help. Its been deleted and thats fair enough, i do not in any way want to 'rub people up the wrong way' by coming across as lazy by not checking it out first, but as i said i knew nothing of the site availiable.

Dark Mist: no apologies needed. You did no harm. We just deleted it because it was wrong information. No biggie. And now you know. Just bookmark that site.
