Kazaa and winzip icon files for objectdock

I've seen icons for every app for objectdock but i havent seen any good ones for kazaa or kazaalite or My shared Folder
And therent any good ones for Winzip either can someone hook it up with those?

I've no idea how it works i just know its downloaded with the file, quite possible its in a file of its own.

if that's the case, then it would seem that they had a virus before kazaa.
Viruses by most definitions have to be self-replicating. They can do that in anything that is executed by the system (I've seen perl, vbscript, c/c++, visual basic viruses with frequency). Data is not usually handled by the OS and with the exception of script-based viruses (like the Melissa virus), data can't actually be a virus, it's handled by a diffenent program (which may be infected).
MP3/AVI virus hoaxes are rampant across the web, but they are just that... hoaxes. Take a brief stroll through f-secure (http://www.f-secure.com) and see all the BS that people blame on p2p programs...
problems I have seen are people infecting the p2p program itself with viruses, then redistributing them again... a simple virus scanner is more than enough to remedy that though.

any exes you download could very well have a virus... it's a risk people will take for a free program....
I've never had a real problem with a virus... nothing McAfee couldn't take care of...

UHRBid; data can have a virus written into it's header tags or readable areas, this happened recently with the MP3 virus scare with winamp (which has been acknowledged and fixed).
As long as the OS is reading a variable to memory it can be buffer-overflowed and cause the program to execute code that could compromise the system and then carry out whatever it wants (payload & replication etc...)
It's important to remember that although the file itself might not be executable, the software that reads it can be tricked into executing malicious corrupt code within the datafile (e.g. mp3, swf, mpg etc..)
It's a matter for the programmers of the software to fix the bug/exploit - but at the end of the day it's still classified as a virus all the same, and just as dangerous, sometimes even more so since the propagation method (in the case of MP3's) is the naive users themselves.

Kazaa is used to download illegal songs, and most of the times the songs will never be purchased.
Sure, maybe one percont of one percent of people using Kazaa may once in a while purchase a CD they downloaded from Kazaa.
Just about the same proportion of people who buy Playboy for the articles.
BTW: my CD store lets me listen to any CD I want before I decide to buy it. I don't know if your service sucks more in the US than here in Canada, but that's pretty much a standard here.

my CD Store doesn't let me listen.... Kazaa does... I refuse to give up Kazaa simple because some people use it illegally... I buy the CDs I like, I trash the MP3s I don't want enough to buy.

UHRBid; a script virus (.vbs etc..) is not a buffer-overflow exploit, or related to a datafile virus in anyway.
A script virus works much like any .exe/.com/.scr virus does, since scripts are *designed* to be executed.
Regarding the winamp mp3 virus... just Google it (I love saying that to someone 
)

Sorry to dredge up an old thread, but I have some comments. I use Kazaa. Actually I use KazaaLite which I'm sure you think is worse or something. I get mp3's because I dont want to buy and entire album for just one song. Earlier you also said that it was like stealing a ferrari for an hour then returning it. You dont steal it. You take it for a test drive. I'm sure some of us have been tempted to take a viper or some other beautiful car for a spin, without buying it. I'm not sure why you think that p2p is so bad. It seems to be a great way for people to send files and such. And either way, the files that are on there are mostly out of yours and my control so it doesnt really matter. I personally am gonna take advantage of a resource that it there. Thats just how I feel. Sorry if you disagree.

Just adding my two cents. I tend to agree with Elfkura and the many others who say that Kazaa is not a bad thing. I guess another analogy would be a gun. I don't own a gun but I have never blamed the gun for the murders that have been committeed. I do have a copy of Kazaa on my system and have had it for over a year. In all that time I have only downloaded two songs that I couldn't find locally (I live in the boon docks). I liked them so well that I did in fact wind up buying the CD's (two different songs--two different artists)even though I had to send away for the CD's.
