Yeah, but I'd have to sit down for most of it.

Prolonged periods of standing/walking tend to aggravate my arthritis and cause pain... as does sitting for prolonged periods.

Yup, I gotta find a happy medium.... which hopefully one day I'll do.

This getting old[er] can be so damned cruel:

Getting a little 'action' these days simply means that my laxative is working, and while my knees buckle my belt won't.  And the other day, a woman thought I was becoming amorous with her cos I had a gleam in my eye.  I told her: "Don't be so silly, woman, that's the sun hitting my bifocals."

Yup, and now I'm old and feeble and my pilot light is out

What used to be my sex appeal is now my water spout

I used to get embarrassed to make the thing behave

For every single morning it would stand to watch me shave

But now I'm old and feeble it just gives me the doddam blues

Cos every single morning it hangs down my leg to watch me shine my shoes.

As they say here in Oz, 'my blood's worth bottling'

Thing is, I can't afford for too much of it to be bottled... otherwise my throbber becomes 'throbless'.

my blood's worth bottling

Given its alchohol content, probably is...

Hehe, reminds me of the Irishman who drowned in a vat at the distillery... he got out 3 times for a piss...

And it took 3 days and 4 fire units to put out the blaze when some fool lit up while viewing his open casket.

There probably was a time when there was more alcohol than blood coursing through my veins, but not these days.  I still enjoy a few beers now and then, but I simply don't have the capacity to drink large quantities anymore.  More often than not, a 6-pack [375ml cans/bottles] is more than enough over a 3 - 4 hour session, and once done I usually opt for a cup of tea.

I woke up with a throbber this morning... and have no paracetamol to help ease it.

Update:

Bought some paracetamol and have taken 4 tabs but still have the throbber some hours later.   Hasn't improved much and there's some nausea with it,  so I think it may be a migraine.

Next step.... ALCOHOL!!!

Somebody once told me that too much alcohol can either prevent or make throbbers go away so I'm gonna try some medicinal XXXX Ale to see if that helps.

Nah, or I'll wake up with a throbber of another kind.... a hangover.

No siree, don't want one of those... thus these days my consumption is well controlled.
