I need WB4 help
Friday, February 21, 2003 by retiredmaster | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk
Now the question. How the heck do I see the new WB4 dialog backgrounds? Do I have to have something switched on in Windows or in WB?
On a similar subject, is there a list of what the new ShellStyle options are? (In a reference document rather than in SkinStudio.) If there isn't, can some kind person email me any details? My first WB4 aware skin is just about finished apart from the background images.
(Doing these skins is just taking longer and longer... stop adding stuff!!)

The problem is, I can't see explorer background images even for other skins which have WB4 (Colony, Sammy). Am I just looking at the wrong screens on XP?
Please, please, nice MR Stardock man, can you update the UIS reference docs? (I'm sure it'll only take five minutes...)

On the other WB4 skins you mentioned above there should be a section called 'XP Shell', with sub-sections entitled 'Background', 'Background Windows', 'Logoff Dialogue', and 'Shutdown Dialogue'

If you're trying to view the large Control Panel or No Modify images, those are easier. To see the Control panel image, open control panel and click on "Switch to Category view". To see the No Modify image, go to your C:\ folder and click on "Hide the contents of this drive".
That's all I know.

Koasati - I agree.
(Whew - thought it was just me. Hmm... maybe there's a magic word?)
Thanks Mike.
