Are there an infinite number of critical flaws in your OS?

If the known universe was a super computer and
you wrote a program to calculate the number of
possible critical flaws in your OS,
it is my guess based in pure logic that when
you pushed the button to execute the program,
the known universe and the unknown universe
would crash.

So the question is,
at what date in the future will we reach a critical mass
of critical flaws?
I don't know but we will know when we get there.

One of my mental exercises for today was.
Connect drive K before drive J or the computer will lock up
and I will have to kill the power to the computer and restart.
Disconnect drive J first and then drive K or the computer will lock up
and I will have to kill the power to the computer and restart.
Then there is the phantom USB port which stops working after a reboot,
this can be remedied by pulling the battery and waiting a little while
and then putting the battery back in and rebooting. A simple restart
might not do it.
I've got a million of them.

Diary of a madman: A choreography:
Today I did a test run of my procedure to add a music cd to my computer.
Any program updates will be ignored or the system could and
would fail.
Each step must be done in exact order and all settings must be perfect
or the system will fail.
I place the cd in the tray and rip to the folder for the album
while automatically including all data about each file.
This step alone requires the right program and settings.
Next I update 3 media libraries in exact order each feeding
on the one that came before, again all settings must be perfect.
All three of these libraries must be updated for the entire system
to function correctly.
Now the mp3 player must be connected and updated using a specific
program, all setting must be perfect.
Next external drive 1 will be connected and updated, all setting must be perfect.
Now external drive 2 will be connected and will be synced with external drive 1,
all setting must be perfect.
Day 2.
Now the laptop will be updated.
This includes connecting to the network and external drive 2,
a new program must be installed and tested.
All setting must be perfect.
Success with the entire procedure with only 2 crashes, 6 restarts
and one phantom USB port.

Turn on stereo, place cd in tray, press play,
and music comes out of the speakers.
Total time: 17 seconds.
