Cant use site anymore

I think that it is unfair to make people PAY to use this site, i only come here for sysmetrix skins, and occasionally wallpaper. Now, i cant download anymore until i PAY!!! That is crap!! This site used to be free, what happened?

ok, here's my take on this. I love the free part of this website. It sux that it dropped to 50mb when it seems like the other day it was 150mb but I do understand that something has to pay for this site. But some of us REALLY can't afford it. I DO have a sugestion though. For skinners there is no cap correct? well to tel you the truth, I'm trying to learn how to skin. I'm working on my first sys metrix skin (I know!! baby stuff!!) but what if there were some kind of part of this web site that taught a lil about skinning? I mean that way the people who REALLY can't afford it can contribute in OTHER ways. I mean If I could skin, you better believe I would upload every skin I made. That way wincustomize get's lots of skins and the people that can't afford to pay can download with no cap. The reason I download so much is cause I fail to find "that perfect skin" which of course is mostly due to my extremely pickiness, and that's one reason why I want to learn skinning. I mean I know it's a long shot and probably doesn't make too much sense but I just REALLY want to contribute in other ways than money. Not so much as to remove my cap but so much as to help keep this site alive. Sorry I know this is a long one.

Well, to be honest. I don't work at all. Due to reasons that I'm not getting into right now. I paid for my 2year thing just a couple weeks ago even though I am a graphics' maker and doing skins. I have a set income also. I don't remember the cap being 150, when I joined it was 100 and I hit that cap. But more you comment on things, interact with the site. The more you can download. At least that's the way it was. Now I have unlimited even though I had to pay for it. I didn't get any rank higher yet from my help with the site yet. But I'm working on it. I've put graphics and skins on so far and I'm usually always in the messageboard. The FAQ and any other help files you can find will tell you what all you have to do to get more bandwidth.
That's all for the moment. I'm munching so I can't think straight.. Need more Pepsi

Thanks Weaksid, I'll look into it...I'm trying my first sys metrix theme now since I can't seem to find one I like. harder than I thought. I can't seem to get the outline of magic pink off images.

Haven't tried that program yet. The hardest to get put up is wallpapers. But if you get one up, then it was really good.
And no problem. If you need help. Just ask people in the messageboard. There are many that are glad to help.

Yes, saw the 'Vincents'.....heck of a lot of custom machining in them.....the 'older' bikes had style, but so does the 'Senna', and the other MV's were as cute as a pin, as they say...

There is no cap for skinners? If so, i could submit stuff, i was starting to work on a few things I wouldnt mind sharing.

I understand there is no cap for users who have reached the apprentice level. But it's not automatic when someone submits a few skins. See here:

A citizen user who has submitted skins can be nominated to be promoted to an Apprentice. To become an apprentice one needs to be contributing to the skinning community in some way. WinCustomize is not the skinning community, helping other websites in the skinning community counts as well. An apprentice can not only talk on the message board but can also comment on skins and the news items. The honorific "Sir" or "Lady" is appended to the front of their name. There is also a Master Apprentice rank for those right on the verge of becoming Journeymen

I was learning sysmetrix skins, and im not using stylexp anymore, but am thinking of using windowblinds. That would be awesome to skin for. I play with photoshop all of the time, and could submit walls. I have made icons before. Maybe I will start learning icon packager. If i feel like it and get the time, maybe i will. I think people need to not take things too seriously, i am not to be taken serously, as i am not too seriouse of a person. Some of the posts made toward me were from people who seemed very pissed off at me. If you use the internet to get pissed off and yell at people, you will spend most of your time pissed off and yelling. All I have to say is just chill out. Thank you.
