Away from the computer I mean. Other interests,Jogging etc. Now Family/Work/Education have priority of course. I play Golf, heavy into Genealogy, like home inprovments especially carpentry.
Ande keeps quiet about sitting in the lounge chair watching football

for me the one thing away from the computer beyond spending time with my family and best bud Boomer the Golden Retriever, it would have to be fishing.

Late night, standing hip deep in the Gulf of Mexico listening to the water lap the shore, every now and then a fish break the water in a splash or just popping a bug off the serfice. It's really nice, moonlight shimmering upon the water and the stars so bright it seems you can see forever.

Manatee's will swim right up on you and hang around nibbling sea grass, or a huge school of trout or redfish will come screaming through leaving floreciant streamers in their wake, all around you, passing between you legs or ducking aroudn the outside of you at the last moment. Talking with my older brother about all kinds of things, not talking for hours and then someone, maybe me, feels a tug or hears a clicker * tick, tick... * and then you rush through the water in the hope you can have it in your hand before it starts cutting the night screaming as the line is pealing out. Maybe you set the hook, maybe you complain about the weak new fishing line and head to shore to tie on a new rig.

You might not even get a bite but it's worth it...

The beach with my dog, he loves it which in tune makes me love taking him. Though I've always been a nature nut beach bum, deep woods, brdige jumping river rat in some shape or form.

oh and I make noise with my Fender 6 string acustic, riding my YZ-250 or my 1968 Superbee...

I do what I need to do to survive, and in between I do what I like to do and all of the above
pertains to computers in one way or another.
In a nutshell...

, you know, thinking about it, I haven't been fishing, cruising, mx-ing at all or to the beach much every since we put the office on the house and we both work from home

Reality hits, when I am not on the computer, I am sleeping, or acting like I am sleeping in hopes that I will fool myself enough to go to sleep.

Manic as I get that is a past time alone

Damn, I need to go fishing. take some pic's and post em...
not of fish, but well everything.. anyway

Ride road bike (Shiny new Aprilia Mille for now), attempt to juggle self employed business life around Army Reserve service,
teaching self web design and graphics, motivating slack business partner and occasionally putting some time into building replica GT40 .... 5 years down the track with the last project and only half finished!
Must rationalize lifestyle and time management!

I believe so Jafo, good excuse to wind out the Prilly!(And probably get busted!!)
Being one of the "Old Farts Club" on Wincusto, I guess I can admit to seeing Ago at work in the distant past racing at RAAF Laverton ..... or was it Point Cook?
Suffering from CRAFT Syndrome today.
And I think there was another meeting a few weeks later at Fishermans Bend, using the old CAC airstrip and taxiways!
Very ordinary venue!
Whatever, he was riding one of the MV 500 'Fours' ..... lovely bike.
You going to be waving flags BTW?
IPlural, at the rate I'm going I'll need a Zimmer Frame rack on the damn thing, which I hasten to add, is a 'replica'.
Not counting time I figure A$50,000.00 will be the final tally, not bad if you convert it to US$.

Wombat...chances are I'll be on start/finish..I'll be the idiot with the pots on and a land-line.
At the MotoGP I was the lap-number changer as well....actually quite a difficult job....keeping track of who passes who....[where the leaders and last rider are]...

Kya!! that's exactly what I've been doing - saving up to buy a Pantera *sighs*

Or rather - I -was- saving up for that before I got laid off.

Music. I play clarinet in a concert band and tenor sax in a jazz band. It's mostly a matter of trying to trim out the wrong notes (or in jazz, making the wrong notes sound like you intended to do that all along - bulls**t in Bflat).
