How to get the latest build for Windows 10

Microsoft keeps enhancing each new build for its Windows 10 Technical Preview. Here's how to ensure you're running the latest edition.
I just checked the watermark on my desktop and saw that I was running build 9841. I learned that Wednesday, Microsoft launched Build 9879.
Apparently I missed the last build, which was 9860. I assumed that, like windows 8, the updates would come via Windows Update....but no.
I didn't know how to check, but thanks to this article, I now do.
Okay, so you've got Windows 10 running. Now how do you grab the latest build?
- Assuming you're using Windows 10 via the new Start menu, click the Start button and then click the option for PC settings.
- At the PC settings screen, click the setting for Update and recovery.
- At the Update and recovery screen, click the option for Preview builds.
- At the Preview builds screen, click the button to Check now.

It would seem that alot of work needs to get done my MS before the 29th. 
Lets see, how many more years is Windows 7 good for?

I am single booting on a junk PC, since I have 6 other gaming PCs in the house running Windows 8.1. (For sale, hehe...)
And a new Dell laptop as well.I also don't like that Edge won't allow any customization of the favorites bar, like short titles, or even rearrangement of links.
Jim I am using the same build as you and I can customize my favorites bar. I rearranged the order of the links and if I right click on them I can rename them. The only thing you cannot edit is the url's under the titles. See mine, I shortened every title and even completely renamed a couple,

No, Ken. The favorites BAR. Runs across the browser horizontally. I can't rearrange the order like I could in IE 11.

Ok I got ya. I don't use the bar because I like the extra screen space. I can live with 2 clicks as apposed to one.

Using Internet Explorer on Windows 10, upon closing IE, I get a dialog saying "Restarting Internet Explorer", then it does just that, rather than closing it. Every time.
