As of Saturday, Sunday I Will be Homeless.
Wednesday, September 24, 2014 by starkers | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk
The peace was too good to last and yesterday I was told to get out of the house. The woman I used to call mother has become so mean spirited that I cannot stand being anywhere near her anymore. All I asked was that she stopped talking down to me like a child all the time, to stop being condescending, to stop dropping snide remarks and not to treat me with contempt whenever it suits her. Well that was it and then it was on for young and old.... with me being kicked out when I had to shout to be heard because she continually kept talking over the top of me. I was accused of elder abuse when in fact it was me who was being abused.
Anyway, I'm having to do a rushed packing job and have to be out by Sunday at the latest... despite the fact she leaves for England on Wednesday. Furthermore, because there is no signed or current lease agreement, she has told the landlord notice to come pick up the keys on Tuesday evening, meaning there is no staying for me, not that I could afford it on my own anyway. We had an arrangement that she would assist me with rent because she gets a subsidy with her pension, but that has been reneged on and now I'm up shit creek.
I still have to pay out my phone, internet and Foxtel contract despite being homeless, so there's 10 more months of that at 180 per month, which is something else she let me down on. She uses the phone and internet but refuses to help pay for it. Oh well, I'll have it for another day before it all gets cut off, but I won't be around for quite some time and I'll see you when I see you

WoW..such a serious attitude for your Mother to take being nothing except hurtful, even though I've grown up hard myself I still always try to focus on the simple good I do have and not carry any drama around if I can avoid it..lol..sometimes, it's like people are trying to share it or whatever and I'm,'No thanks, I'm working on cutting back just how much BS I'm expected to carry around, like mostly everyone else seems to be ha, ha.' However, having Family no longer helpful at basically a 'Moments Notice" is cruel and hurtful I can imagine for how it must feel. You sure have my support as a Human and are in my prayers, I hope matters get resolved quickly for you and there are Community Action Services sometimes available that I've had help with in past time. You may want to check into that, there could be Bed and Board through a halfway house or what it may be called, 'til you're able to get your own place or rent with someone else..whichever turns out better for you! Heck, I even have a couch I'd let you use if needed that help, just being a person and 'cause I know what it's like being forced out so to say..survival becomes priority it seemed then. Sure am wishing you all of the best of good fortune, good friends, and good days! ![]()

That's great to hear Mark. An old saying says you can choose your friends but not your family. Put it all behind you and do what you do best. Come here and razz everybody with the pirate cap'n's usual flair.

Ten, actually.
Oh well, what's 3 missing plagues between enemies?
Well...the last time you said that, Phar...errr...Cap'n...
Now, I command thee cheer up!

I'll probably end up going to hell for that, so you'd better have laughed.

Well the old ***** sent me a spiteful email to rub my nose in it that she ripped me off and cost me quite alot of money. Oh well, not to worry. It serves my needs so I'm glad she sent it. Being that I had no saved emails from her I wasn't able to block her.... until now, which means she can't contact me when she decides later to come crawling back like nothing happened ... just like she did after she bahaved despicably towards me the day of my brother's funeral. Nah, that just ain't happening.
I want a complete and utter break from her and the family she turned against me, so I've blocked every one them from the only email address they have for me, as well as on my mobile phone, and now I'll never have to deal with any of them ever again.
It may seem harsh and/or extreme to some that I have eliminated my [former] mother and family from my life, but they're a bunch of low-life drug running criminals [who contributed greatly to my daughter's ice addiction] or drug fucked arsewipes who have gone to extremes to hurt me at the old ****'s behest, so it is necessary because I need considerably better from those I hold dear to me.
Anyway, enough of those parasites, I'm moving forward and further mention of them is prohibited. Orright!!!!!!
I'll probably end up going to hell for that, so you'd better have laughed.
No, you won't end up in Hell, Beelzebub would be afraid you'd wanna take over.
As for a laugh, well I'm not quite there yet, but I did manage a short chuckle, if that's any good to ya.

.... All good advice from your friends , Capt'n..... and remember what Uvah says about family and friends...how true it is.
Yeah, Uvah's a great bloke, and I always thought he was right except when he was wrong.
Nah,seriously, I've made some good friends on WC and I'm grateful to/for each and every one of them.

So Doc, everyone, there's no need to worry. Things are looking up and I'll be fine... back to my usual self
Now there's a bit of good news.
Hopefully, your next move will put you in a place much better for your long term health. Stress like you've been having isn't good on old farts like ourselves. (and moving always wears a guy out.) Best of luck finding another place to call home.

Thanks, Wiz, I appreciate the kind thoughts, and yeah, I've done too much moving in recent times, so I'm very much looking forward to something more permanent.... something I can call home that's on one level, no stairs. Us old farts with arthritic knees and hips do enjoy life so much better without them. Shaunna has put me in contact with some people who may be able to help me with that, so with a bit of luck it can happen soon.
Another thing I can enjoy life so much better without are hills, so there's another item to add to my accommodation/residential wish list.... along with a pub nearby; a doctors surgery nearby; an escort agency and/or a dating service nearby, and a pharmacy.... the 24hr pharmacy [next door] for just in case I get lucky and require 'pharmaceutical assistance', hehe.
EDIT:
The pub nearby? To ply her with alcohol if she's not short-sighted.

I haven't added anything to this point. Now I'm glad to hear there is some light coming your way Mark. Hopefully soon life will be the way you want it to be. Peaceful and enjoyable.

I have heard that Aussies can hold their liquor but can anybody really hold THAT much liquor?
And could I afford THAT much?
Oh well, there's always plan B.... tie up her seeing eye dog, break her white cane and offer to guide... er, lead her myself.

Thanks, Dave, despite the experience making me considerably out of pocket, things are looking up and I'm in reasonably good spirits. At the end of the day, though, it's only money and I will manage/get more. And I'm in good company so things aren't too bad.

Let's be honest...PLan B was always to get the dog drunk.
Ssshhhhhh! Nobody else was to know that, just in case I got a visit from the RSPCA for getting a dog drunk in public. However, that was plan D.
Plan C was to lay down in front of her and take advantage of her when she tripped over me.

Plan B was Bessie, Smedley. Not some dog. We all know it.
And stop acting like you weren't the one that kidnapped RnD's ewe and sold her to starkers.
Putz!

Balderdash, I did NOT purchase Bessie off of Smedley or anyone else.
For a start, any ewe I purchased would have to be a virgin, and given the company Bessie's kept of late, we know that's highly improbable.
Not only that, the ewe I'd buy would have to have her fleece dyed pink to make her look more feminine, and last I heard, Bessie had a blue tinge thru hers to remind RnD of her mother, who was a part of the blue rinse set some years ago.
Besides, what makes you think Smedley would have sold Bessie had he lambnapped her? Yes, lambnapped! Get it right!
Had Bessie's parents been goats, which they weren't, then she would have been kidnapped.

If stealing a lamb is lambnapped and stealing a goat is kidnapped they how come when they steal people its called kidnapped and not peoplenapped?

And...I really want to see you in a better place emotionally, Mark.
yep.... the best revenge is make yourself happy.... they won't be able to stand it...
I'm getting there. Well put it this way, I woke up this morning with greater inner peace than in the last 3 months or so.
It would be more than helpful in getting into new accommodation, but I've written off the tablet [had a buyer] and TV money as a bad loss. The important thing for me now is finding a permanent residence and getting on with the rest of my life. I've done all I need to feel better about recent events, so now it's a matter of pressing forward and putting the past/those people behind me.
I am so grateful for the help and support offerred/given by Shaunna, Bianca, her new beau, Steve and his family. They have been tremendous during this difficult period and have been more like family than those of my own blood. So no, I'm not alone in the world, it's just that the faces of those I hold dearest have changed... though Shaunna and Bianca always have and always will hold a special place in my heart.
So Doc, everyone, there's no need to worry. Things are looking up and I'll be fine... back to my usual self
in no time.
