Since I got broadband, (about 2 or 3 months ago) I have had a problem with corrupted uploads to WinCustomize. T-Man has very kindly been posting my stuff for me, which involved e-mailing files etc.
Anyway, after a marathon 12 hours messing around in the network settings of my system, I finally found the (3) offending settings and corrected them. I just did a trial upload of a wallpaper (The Question), and it went flawlessly! No corrupted screenshot, and no corrupted zip file.
BoXXi is very relieved that this is sorted out!!

O.K. Scratch my post above...... I just updated one of my walls that was corrupted and got the same problem! DAMN!

"Format C:\" should read "Format C:"
Don't even attempt to correct me on that, I spent several hours, gave up, and woke up the next morning and left out the \ by accident, and it worked.
I've checked this a few times since then (that's what 386's were made for, right?) and I'm definately right.
So don't try to tell me otherwise, because you have no case.
And I'm modest too.
PS. Ok, I haven't formatted under XP or 2k, but comparing DOS in 2k/XP to DOS in 98\ME is like comaring the crappy old "edit" program built into DOS with the complete office XP with all the add in bits.
Translation: XP/2k DOS is basically nothing, 98\ME DOS had too many things to remember.
My point: DOS should've died with Win 3.1.
PPS. Why can't computers bypass all that BIOS stuff and load directly into windows? That's something I can't understand.
PPPS. I think I should get out more. what do you think?

if ur using a router it could be u need to upgrade ur firmware, thats what i had to do before i could upload ANYTHING. And if that doesn't work try making urself the DMZ server on ur router it pretty much gets rid of ur firewall which in most cases will fix the problems
