Sorry to hear that DC.  The Captain is correct, Jafo has a link or something to a form that can be used and the proper procedure to get your wallpaper removed.  I am sure he will see this post!

so far I see 4 or 5 sites it has been uploaded to, two of them do have a DMCA form to fill out... the others may too

but the one in the external like doesn't have one...


I will wait to see what Jafo has to say before I fill out any of these DMCA's on their sites...

I never put a copyright on them but IF I remember right Jafo said we do not have to, it just makes it easier

they do want ALL my personal info like
my full name, Phone number, E-mail, Home Address, City, State, Zip code, Country
Not that I will not give that info IF I have to I just do not want them spamming me or Calling to sell me something or Selling my info to others...

DC...congrats...you have arrived.  Your work is good enough to steal....

It happens to us all...eventually....

If a site has DMCA forms/submissions...use them...ALWAYS be polite [they may not be the bad guy].

If a site doesn't have the facility use the Form as posted above by Doc ...and spend some time to search for an appropriate address to send it to.

Bottom line is...it is YOUR IP so only you have a vested interest/incentive to pursue and seek a resolution.

A simple timeline is all that's really required to demonstrate authorship if queried...

DC...re TITLE/COMPANY - the form is generic.  In your case you would use your actual name and refer to your artistic name [common avatar/nick]....

You use the whois info to get the email to send the request (Jafo's right...be polite, but firm). The sentence in the form remains simply (according to WHOIS information).
