Get Real

Friday, November 8, 2002 by JamMeister33 | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

I can't help but observe that people are either too afraid to speak their minds, or they have bought into the whole "Don't want to make no waves" type of attitude.
I personally find this extremely hard to comprehend.
Since when did the general public (especially the paying members) become too afraid to speak up in their own behalf? Can someone enlighten me?

And excuse me, JAFO, but I do not believe that I am being unreasonalbe this time, or else I would be the first one to apologize!

Hmmmmmmmm. Well, I think...this is ultimatley an artistic forum even though politics etc. have often trickled in here... What kind of things would you prefer here? As far as truth? And keep that wet noodle at least 20 feet from me!

I believe that Jafo has been elected the policeman of this site and I respect his efforts and he can certainly tell me to get stuffed, but I will stick by my right to speak my mind as long as I don't purposely try to attack someone or become unforgivably abusive to the mostly very good people who read this stuff.

JamMeister...no, I'm not particularly 'policing' the forums, or the site, at least no more than any other Admin.
t's just at certain times, I'm the only one on, being from Down Under.

You are free to speak your mind, just as anyone else is. The only limits are abusive, personal attack, gratuitous expletive use, Warez requests, litigious slander and/or libel.

The people who HAVE been removed from this site have broken at least one, and usually many of these 'limits'.

Feel free to be 'controversial', we are all adults [relatively], but keep a sensitive eye on those 'limits'...

Love ya, brother...
You are a wise man.
Please jump all over me if you feel that I'm being unreasonable.
I do not want to be unreasonable.
I want to be helpful and if at all possible, informative.

Ok, if you insist.

It does appear that you have been attempting to Jump all over Jafo. I have viewed several threads where out of nowhere that you have taken offense at Jafo for either no reason or on his views about Bryce. Not sure what has motivated you to do this but you do seem to be a bit on the attack.

It's fun to play "Jump-on-Jafo", the new game from Parker Brothers.

Relieve all of your daily stress.
Blame Jafo when you've made a mess.
Total the car? It's Jafo's fault.
Need some cash? Raid Jafo's vault.
Screwed up your life? Jafo's to blame.
It's fun to play the "Jafo" game!

Like this game, there is no other.
(Oh, and sis can trouble her mean old brother.)

Don't delay! Play the "Jump-on-Jafo" game today.
