2000mb/s SSD RAID

This video is quite old but back then i thought it was amazing
They run 24 SSD in Raid... and get close to 2000mb/s read 
I just found the video again and thought how freaking fast that is...
i wonder what is currently possible...

What is the max read on current gen SSDs? I stopped following it more closely, when i got my intel x25m 80GB few years ago.

550read 500 write is normal on current SSD

Oh, thanks. Is that sequential or the small chunks read/write?

Anyway, i guess we are getting there... slowly. If only i remembered how fast were these x-25s, as reference for comparison...
