SysMetrix NOW!

Thursday, September 12, 2002 by treetog | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

How many of you guys ever heard about SysMetrix? http://www.xymantix.com/sysmetrix/index.html

Boy! this is by far the best handy tool app I ever saw!
It cares a full meter measurements, analog clock, recycle, e-mail notifier and much more.
Other then that it is fully skinable and on the top of that ii is FREEWARE!

Thank you so much for such a nice product, Xymantis.

c242: I tried to find your sysmetrix skin, but couldn't. What name did you give it and in what graphics sub-section is it?

Ah ha... so if I make skins for SysMetrix (and I will) that is where I should but them??? Ok I will follow your lead c242.

I really like this program. it is really cool. i will be supporting it by making skins for it and telling the world about it.

By the way... i also like QuickNOTES. Where do I put skins for that at?

Maybe in the graphics section too? QuickNotes only has 3 bitmaps so I guess it would be considered a graphic...

You're welcome adni18! It may sound a bit cheesy, but I'm glad that I'm able to contribute to the skinning world in a variety of ways. It's truely been one of my most rewarding hobbies in the recent years.

Okay let me add to the love-fest. I originally poo-poo'ed systemmeter-type apps. Well I take it all back. This thing is neat and really flexible. Cool beans, Nick!

Why doesn't this have spell check?

Any chance that motherboard monitors are coming soon?

I've thought about adding those, as it can be done and would be kind of neat. I know that other metering programs hook into the MBM dlls. My problem with that is that you'd end up with non-portable themes. If you make a theme that's full of MBM stuff, it wouldn't be useful to others that don't have MBM installed. I'd have to think of a clever way to componentize everything first.
