Windows Media Player skinz

Please forgive my ignorance but...

...how on earth do you make WMP skins? I have lots of ideas but unfortunately no idea how to turn them into skins!

Windows Media Player is no simple thing to skin. You can read a guide and the skins programming reference on the MSDN Library: http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/wmplay/mmp_sdk/skinprogrammingguide.asp
