I'm seeing the same thing. Could this be an account problem rather than a problem with the update? My Object Desktop subscription expires on 3 Dec 2012.

Zubaz, what ever you did worked, version 2.11 in now showing up in SDC and on Stardock, My Account, My Downloads page for me.
EDIT: Everything is working now as expected, my shorcut for CursorFX opens it with no problems.

Installed on W7 Home Premium x64.
sdc
shows 2.11 installed, 'about' confirms 2.11Are you having an issue Doc? I'm not seeing it in your note.
No issues.
Started with CFX uninstalled (a few weeks ago) using CCleaner (it was malfunctioning).
Thought I'd put up data with good results (no problems installing)... maybe starting with a 'virgin' system might help in the analysis of where the problem for these folks lies... maybe not.

Worked for me Zubaz! Thanks! I did however have to go and manually change the link to the program from "C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock\CursorFX\CursorFX.exe" to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock\CursorFX\CursorFX Control Panel.exe" to get it to work.

I have installed/upgraded on 7/XP and CFX itself is working fine. As reported previously, the issue I have is with SDC showing 2.10 as installed and 2.11 as an available update.

If you are having this issue please report the following:

What version do you have installed? 2.10.

Do you see CFX in the installed software list in SDC? Yes.
Thanks. You're Welcome.

CFX 2.10 is installed Zu. Was....
I just installed the "fixed" version of 2.11 from the store.
It seemed to install ok. When it opened, my cursor was green....should have been yellow. I reset that...ok.
Now the shortcut that was pinned to the start menu is gone, the shortcut in all progs doesn't work.
Back to 2.10.

Ok, I found the issue with SDC.
*Not official support*
I uninstalled CFX from control panel, then deleted this registry entry.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Stardock\CursorFX
After that, SDC will show and download the correct version.

See Reply #49 Jim. I had to fix the shortcut too, then all worked fine.

Understood, Tom. Thanks. But for the masses, it needs to work as downloaded. Adjustments and tweaks are for beta releases. Not this. The cursor color shouldn't have to be adjusted on install....defaults should be applied. My "pinned to start menu" shortcut shouldn't be removed. And it should uninstall correctly.

After Zubaz did whatever he or someone else did the update showed up for me in SDC, it installed fine and I didn't need to make any adjustment to the shortcut for CursorFX. If you installed the update yesterday, if you all ready havent' tried, maybe you might want to uninstall with SDC, run a cleanup program, then reboot and reinstall and hopefully that corrects the problem. I never could see the update yesterday. Worth a try.

There are mechanisms in place to beta test this stuff before release....dunno why they're not being used.
