OK, I uninstalled CursorFX and ran 2 registry cleaners and rebooted. After opening SDC, it says version 2.10 is available, so does the store. So I installed it via SDC and it also says it is version 2.10. There is no version 2.11 showing any where at all. ![]()

Well that's what I did also with the same results.

Well, since SDC said it was still an available update, I told it to install it again, only this time it told me to reboot after installing. I did, but on restart WB wasn't loaded and Explorer locked up hard. Once Explorer unlocked,I tried to open the Cursor FX but could only open from the control panel applet, I opened SDC and it still shows the update to Cursor FX Plus. Since I have the 2.11 downloaded from the store, I think I will uninstall and redo it.
Gawd, I am beginning to hate applying updates!

They renamed the main executable so your old shortcuts and Start Panel won't work. The main program used to be CursorFX.exe or CursorFXPlus.exe. Now you have CursorFX Control Panel.exe.
So fix your shortcuts guys.

We need some data.
If you are having this issue please report the following:
- Do you have a previous version of CFX installed? (previous to 2.11)
- What version do you have installed?
- How did you install the earlier version CFX? (Stand-alone, SDC, Impulse)
- Do you see that version of CFX in the installed software list in SDC?
- Do you see 2.11 on available on the web store?
- If not, what do you see?
- Do you see 2.11 in SCD?
- Describe your problem.
Thanks.

Installed on two rigs.

2.10 shows as installed and 2.11 still shows as available in SDC.
No problems launching or using the control panel on either unit.

Thanks for looking into this Zubaz,
I had CursorFX 2.10 installed and initially I had used Impulse, but then when it went away I uninstalled, did a registry clean and installed the stand-alone version.
As stated before I now uninstalled and reinstalled via SDC after a registry clean and reboot, but it still says version 2.10 when I click About, it still shows version 2.10 in SDC, and it still shows version 2.10.023 at the store for me as available. It does show on my list of installed software in SDC.
I am on Windows 7 64-bit. I did not check my XP or Vista as I really don't use them any more, but I don;t think that would make a difference.

No, I am seeing version 2.10.023 when I do that, and mine says "Cursor FX Plus (Upgrade)".

Installed from SDC, CursorFX Plus 2.11
W 7 64bit
Shows as installed.
Then SDC opens. I no longer have Cursor 2.11 in the updates section. It shows installed.
I can no longer access from icon.
This sign pops up before SDC opens.
