It seems to me that she is advocating something much higher than mere revenge, which in her case is really incredible and commendable in the highest.

One thing though just as an observation - when someone in the media gets killed, its front page news for days and a national tragedy (according to the press anyway). Yet the CIA agent who was murdered in that prison break in Afghanastan barely got any attention relatively speaking.

Tyrants have known this for a long time. Try giving 1984 by George Orwell a read. Also take a look at Animal Farm. One of the few books that actually changed my life.
